Job Opportunity for Data Scientists

Strike is a leading fintech company that provides innovative solutions for payments, lending, and investing. We are looking for a data scientist to join our remote team and help us build and deploy scalable models that can handle large volumes of data and deliver high-quality results.

As a data scientist at Strike, you will be responsible for:

• Developing, testing, and deploying machine learning models on tabular financial data, such as credit scoring, fraud detection, customer segmentation, and churn prediction
• Applying supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms on highly imbalanced datasets, as well as time series analysis and forecasting techniques
• Performing data analysis and visualization using Python and BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Mode
• Collaborating with other data scientists, engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver solutions
• Communicating your findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences

To be successful in this role, you should have:

5+ years of professional experience as a data scientist, machine learning engineer, or similar role

• Demonstrated experience building and deploying large scale models in industry with a strong track record of success
• Financial industry experience strongly preferred
• Excellent Python programming skills and knowledge of machine learning libraries such as pandas, scikit-learn, and pytorch
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Mode
• Deep problem solving abilities, detail orientation, resourcefulness
